Southern Valley Elementary School Book Sale

 

The Southern Valley Elementary School will be hosting a book sale February 5-12 to raise money for their school library. Hours will be 8:30-3:30 Monday through Friday and from 8:30-12 on Friday the 12th.

 

 

Minden Beautification Team's Sweetheart Package

 

Minden Beautification Team members are selling tickets for a February Sweetheart package. The lucky winners get a limo ride, prime rib dinner for two, a dozen roses and a bottle of champagne. Tickets for the drawing are being sold at several Minden businesses and during home basketball games. The drawing will be Thursday February 11 during the Whippets game vs. Wood River

 

Holdrege Optimists Club Oratorical Contest

 

The Holdrege Optimists Club is sponsoring an oratorical contest for students, aking them to speak on the subject of ''Cyber communication: Progress or problem''?  Students under the age of 16 are welcome to participate, with a chance to awards and move on to the next level. Combat Veterans Group Meetings
